311 pulled double duty. They performed at KROQ Weenie Roast, jumped on a plane to Denver and performed Red Rocks the same night.
Nick always tells this story of Red Rocks. “When moving from Omaha to Los Angeles, the band stopped at Red Rocks Ampitheater. During the day, the venue is open for visiting. They walked the venue, stood on the stage and said, ‘One day we’re gonna fucking rock this place.'”
This is the day that dream came true.
