Who runs 311Archive?
311Archive was put together, designed, and run by J2Tone in 2023. In 2024, I (J2Tone) have added a few people to help me manage a few aspects of the site.
Thanks Jana (SWAG) and Ross (Arc)!
I helped set up and run 311.com and 311 socials for many years, but that has changed. So now I have time and resources to build a solid look at 311’s history. Please note that I am not a band member, management or crew. I do not have any special insights to share about the band members or upcoming events.
I started on Instagram, posting daily 311 nuggets. I was thrilled to find fans as well as bandmembers and crew were enjoying the posts. However, I felt things got pushed down too easily. This website will allow you to view as your leisure, being easy to locate and view.
I also felt the need to create a space where things are more focused on music and the band. This site is as factual as I can make it.
It’s been a while since we had a solid fan site in the community and I hope to make this an one-stop shop for all things 311. But for upcoming events, you will need to visit 311.com for those details.
Welcome to 311 Archive!
Where/how did you get and find all this content?
I’ve been around the community a long time. 311 has been important to me the majority of my life. I saved everything I can, backing things up since my youth. I have created and taken footage and content for the band on multiple occasions. I also have reached out to others in the community with the same interest and zeal as well as concert photographers who have shot 311 shows throughout the years.
There are sites that were very helpful in researching for the archive as well.
Wayback Machine was invaluable for searching for old content. It archived how websites looked in the past. I was able to pull up the old 311music.com, older fansites, radio station sites, etc.
Archive.org for live audio
Getty Images for (some) pro-shot photos
Can I contribute?
This archive is by a fan for the fans! That being said, I could use your help. If you have photos or videos from 311 shows throughout the years, please send it in. I’d love to see and incorporate it. Don’t worry about sending too much or too little. Anything is acceptable.
And of course, I will make sure you are credited for your content. Please provide your name and/or username or tag.
I’m also happy just to chat or take suggestions for the site as well. If you find any content that is not linking correctly, or that was pulled down, please notify me.

THANK YOU to anyone who supported this endeavor. There is so much content that has been saved over the years. I always try to note who took what on the site, sometimes information was lost over the years. But I can say thank you to those who contacted me or personally sent in media. I will try to remember to note anyone else coming foward here as well. Reach out at J2Tone311@gmail.com with any comments or submissions.
